TECH

Our projectors are 2K and can play 4K films. We have 5.1 surround sound.
Almost every film is screened via DCP, deliverable by download link or hard drive. If you are unfamiliar with the DCP process, we are happy to assist.
As we regularly show commercial films calibrated to industry standards, our adjustments are limited to volume control and bulb replacement. We are unable to accommodate technical modifications to your film.
We also have 16mm projection and 35mm projection should be available soon. Please mention this in your inquiry if relevant to your event.
FILMING AT THE MUSIC HALL

We rent the theater for film and television production shoots. Please provide your budget with your request so we can determine whether it makes sense for both parties.
Every shoot has its own circumstances so we have no standard procedure or set rates.

For parking details, please visit our parking page. We recommend weekday screenings start at 7:30 or 8pm — Wilshire Blvd street parking opens at 7pm.
We recommend attendees do not arrive more than 30 minutes before showtime unless a prior arrangement has been made.
For food and drinks after your screening, we recommend Prospect Gourmand on Robertson Blvd — a short walk from the theater. They will stay open later with advance arrangement. Note they are closed on Mondays.
We accept all forms of payment: credit card, cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
For more elaborate events, we ask that you provide an itinerary for mutual confirmation. Please be ready with invoice details including company name, address, email, and phone number. We will send an invoice that serves as your rental agreement.
